I use the Functional Movement System with all of my clients. I begin with the Functional Movement Screen to assess any asymmetries in movement, mobility and stability through movement, and any pain through movement. This is a necessary and useful tool I use before loading the body up with any resistance and further compounding poor movement which could lead to pain and injury. This screen also allows us a clear baseline of where to begin your program.
There are various assessments I will do in addition to the Functional Movement Screen depending on your fitness and health goals. This allows us to collect data at the start of your program that we can come back to and compare. I prefer to re-assess every 4-6 weeks to make sure we are on track and make changes to your program if necessary. You have a choice of 30-60 minute workout sessions 1-3x a week. I can adjust your program to be home or gym workouts with no equipment, minimal equipment, or a gym setting with equipment.
